CANNY Elevator Overseas Renovation and New Elevator Delivery
CANNY Elevator has achieved remarkable success in the international market. Its first batch of bus escalator truss-retention renovation projects were successfully delivered to the Seoul Metro in South Korea. These eight escalators, originally a Korean brand, had been in operation for nearly 20 years and were reaching the end of their product lifecycle. Through on-site surveys and professional assessments, CANNY Elevator tailored a solution for the client, retaining the trusses and renovating other components. This effectively reduced financial and time costs, minimizing the impact on station operations and passenger flow. Since their initial collaboration in 2006, the two companies have collaborated for nearly 20 years, with thousands of bus escalators now in operation in South Korea. CANNY Elevator also won a contract to install 12 high-quality escalators at Zanzibar International Airport in Tanzania, further expanding its overseas market presence.
TISHENG Elevator Establishes Joint Venture in Saudi Arabia
TISHENG Elevator has entered into a strategic partnership with Alat, a subsidiary of the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF), to jointly establish a €160 million joint venture. The new joint venture will establish a manufacturing base and a local product R&D center in Saudi Arabia to produce elevators, escalators, and moving walkways. These products will be supplied not only to the Saudi market but also to the Middle East and North Africa region. Alat will also become a long-term direct shareholder of Tisheng Elevator with a 15% stake. This partnership aligns with the PIF's goal of promoting economic diversification and will help Tisheng Elevator secure a leading position in the world's fastest-growing new elevator market.
